You may ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, and ask for correction or deletion. Write to us and we will respond within the period the law allows.
Under United Kingdom data protection law you can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you and to give you a copy of it. This is a subject access request, and there is no charge for making one.
Write to us at the contact address and tell us enough to identify yourself and to locate the information. We may ask for proof of identity, so that we never disclose information to the wrong person.
We respond within one month. Where a request is genuinely complex we may extend that by up to two further months, and we will tell you at the outset if that applies and why. Where we cannot act on part of a request, for instance because it would reveal information about another person, we explain that rather than simply refusing.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's data protection regulator, though we would prefer the chance to put a problem right first.
