The Bridge Transaction and the Chains It Connects

The Desk, 4 min read

Moving assets from one blockchain to another requires a bridge, and a bridge transaction does something quietly revealing: it links an address on one chain to an address on another, joining two pictures that might otherwise have stayed apart.

The link is durable. Once a bridge ties addresses across chains, an observer can follow a holding from one ecosystem into another, assembling a fuller view of total wealth than either chain showed alone. Separation by chain is not separation in fact.

Bridges are also watched and sometimes targeted, which adds a layer of scrutiny to the addresses that use them. A bridge transaction can both expand the visible picture and attract attention to it.

The useful understanding is that holdings spread across chains are not necessarily holdings kept apart, and that the bridges between them are exactly where the connections are made and read.

We trace how a client's holdings connect across chains, so the full picture is understood as a whole rather than assumed to be divided.
